Spectacular mountain trails and breathtaking cliff path walks are in easy reach, and showcase the Cape’s diverse and thriving botanic ecosystem. It is also just a leisurely forty minutes stroll along a coastal path to the centre of the village.

Most of Birkenhead House’s 11 sea-facing studio suites offer expansive vistas of Walker Bay and the distant Overberg Mountains. From the comfort of their residence, guests can look forward to sighting the majestic Southern Right whales that enter the sheltered waters every year to calve.
