Children

Children are welcome to stay at the hotel. The staff can arrange a babysitting service for guests. They can provide and extra bed in the room for children, and also offer interconnecting rooms for families.

Eating in

The boutique hotel does not have a restaurant, but there is room service and a small, chic bar, La Grande Dame.

“The Hotel Sezz is in the fashionable 16th arrondissement, just one block from the Seine and a short walk from the boutique-lined rue de Passy.” Conde Nast Traveller 06

"Christophe Pillet's dramatic and ultra-chic design hotel is a hideaway in the busy capital across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower."

Hotel Sezz by Jamie Dunford Wood

A wonderfully quiet design hotel near the Seine, the Hotel Sezz is a converted townhouse in Paris.

The facilities

Reception staff, tucked away in a small office off the little public space, are unfailingly attentive and helpful - in fact the Hotel Sezz offers them as 'personal assistants' to guests, along with free wi-fi and phone roaming. As such this design hotel is a favourite with style-conscious working execs in the week, and often has great rates at weekends. Downstairs there's a small hammam and Jacuzzi and the metro is close giving guests easy access to Paris.

The rooms

The rooms at the design hotel come in various flavours - mostly based on how the bathrooms are configured. Some in the room behind glass, some freestanding, etc. Cool contemporary materials include grey slate (and not any old slate, but pierre de caiscais from Portugal), cream composite bathrooms, tonal lighting and graphic and photo art on the walls.
